Our brief was to create 100 polo shirts for the Sport and Recreation Department of the Kowanyama Aboriginal Shire Council.
The polos needed to help the staff be recognisable at the various classes, activities and sporting competitions they run. They also wanted the polo designs to be significant to the Kokoberra, Yir Yoront [or Kokomenjen] and Kunjen clans who make up the local community.
Red Oak Teamwear recommended our high-quality performance micromesh. A nice, lightweight and breathable fabric (145gsm) – perfect for any event!
KSC had an idea of the design they wanted, and after supplying it to our designers it was transformed into a digital image that could be sublimated onto the polos.
The KSC staff were over the moon with the results of the design, we were able to capture their vision without losing the message. They said that Red Oak Teamwear had helped them create “amazing”.
From now on there will be no doubting who the Sport & Recreation Officers are as they rep their custom polos at all public events.
