Today we introduce you to Kirrily, our Event and Teamwear Manager here at Red Oak. Kirrily has been with Red Oak now for about a year and a half and brings smiles to our office every single day!
And that is lucky too, because she says the laughter is the thing she loves most about being part of the Red Oak team.

What is your favourite thing about being part of the Red Oak team?
The laughter every single day!
Do you have a favourite quote, and what is it?
If we all did the things we were capable of doing we would literally astound ourselves – Thomas Edison
What book are you reading now?
Brisbane Author Trent Daltons new book “Love Stories”.
What was the first concert you ever went to?
My Mum worked for RCA records back in the 80’s when I was a kid – I went to too many concerts to remember the first one! It may have been John Denver or Elvis Costello.
What’s your guilty pleasure?
Watching The Real Housewives reality tv. It reminds me how not to behave!
What is your hidden talent that may surprise people who don’t know you?
Remembering names and faces.
Dog person or cat person? Neither? Both?
Definitely cat, though not until recently. We got a beautiful black little cat called Happy at the beginning of covid in 2021. She completes our family.
When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be a political journalist. I loved Jana Wendt on 60 Minutes, I wanted to be just like her.
What is the weirdest food you’ve ever eaten?
I avoid any food that I cannot identify!
Who is your hero, and why?
My Mum. She brought me up on her own in a time when that was quite unusual and it would have been very difficult. She taught me to be resilient and strong, just like her. She is very special.
