Perth Police are no different to most around the country, constantly having to find new ways to clamp down on anti-social behavior while gaining community support for what they do.
Sergeant Mike Pearson and his colleagues thought outside the box years ago and decided the best way to combat street racing was to join them!
Invitations went public for an opportunity to “Beat the Heat” in the controlled environment of Perth Motorplex drag strip. The drivers get to race their cars in a safe environment and avoid the issues surrounding the safety of unsanctioned road racing.
With the added incentive of trying to beat the police on the track!
How to Design Your Own Motorsport Crew Shirt
Mike contacted Red Oak looking for a unique shirt for the drivers and support crew and we immediately recommended a sublimated design to best showcase their branding and team design.
Starting with a basic button up collared shirt template from one of our website examples, we reproduced Mike’s choice in the desired team colours and added the team and sponsor logos, strategically placed to make the them stand out in a crowd!
Using our mid weight interlock fabric gives a very professional presentation when the team is on show at an event and seeing the Perth Police crew in the outfit really adds to the “wow” factor (not to mention intimidates the opposition just a bit).
For actual crew staff who work on the cars a polo style was recommended, without the loose front opening of the team shirt, and madein our performance micromesh fabrics making it cooler to wear.
For winter events, our new fitted jacket in a snug fleecy fabric was ideal featuring a new ‘activewear’ style jacketto complete the cohesive event uniform range.
