What is the best way to figure out what size to order?
If time allows, the best way to work out sizing is to request a full-size set from Red Oak Teamwear and have a “try on” day at your club, business or studio.
Unfortunately, a sizing set isn’t always available, or your delivery date may not allow time, so as an alternative, we send customers Garment Measurement Charts to help work out sizing for their order.
What is a Garment Measurement Chart?
Our “Garment Measurement Charts” show the measurements of the garment, not body measurements.
This means you can’t measure your body to work out the correct sizing, rather, you need to measure an equivalent piece of correct sized clothing from your wardrobe to match the size.
How do you use a Garment Measurement Chart?
One of our most popular products is a polo, so we’ll one as an example on how to work out the best size.
Step One – Go to your cupboard or dresser and get out the polo, or if you don’t have a polo a garment that is similar (like a shirt) that fits you the best.

Step Two – Take the polo and lay it down flat on a table.

Step Three – Get the Red Oak Teamwear Garment Measurement Chart – take note of where we measure the chest in the picture – it’s about an inch down from the underarm.

Step Four – Measure your polo straight across and compare this measurement to our Garment Measurement Chart.

Step Five – You have now worked out what size to order using our Garment Measurement Chart.

Download a pdf of these instructions here.
EXPERT TIP: We do recommend with spandex garments like crops and tights to wait for size sets to be available as sizing will be different based on body shapes rather than just the main garment measurements.
