Performance Micromesh Team Uniform
Red Oak Teamwear love working alongside sporting clubs and helping design uniforms that standout both on the land and in the water.
We recently teamed up with Fraser Coast Outrigger to update the artwork and incorporate their new club logo on their team uniform. They came to us after being impressed by the uniforms we created for the Brisbane Outriggers.
On our recommendation, Fraser Coast selected our performance micromesh because it is quick drying, light to wear, comfortable while still providing 35+ SPF Sun protection.
The club selected the below garments in adult and youth sizing in both unisex and ladies styles:
- Round Neck Singlets
- V Neck Racerback Singlets
- Tees

- Long Sleeve Tee
- Caps
- Visors
The Design Process: Custom Outrigger Canoe Clothing
What was involved:
- With the main team colour being purple, we supplied our colour chart with 300+ colours to ensure the correct purple was used.
- We arranged some samples in the new design for the committee to help in deciding what fabrics were to be used and to make sure the colour was what they wanted.
- The design needed to feature a whale tale (representative of their local area) and their new updated logo.
- As the designs had to be approved by the club committee, there were a few rounds of design changes before the final design was agreed up. Red Oak Teamwear has worked with thousands of clubs and committees, and understand this process is quite typical. However, it’s important to allow some extra lead time to allow for this back and forth while designs are finalised.
- Once samples and design were signed off the order was placed with production with a quick turnaround of 4 weeks.
- Finished product: Fraser Coast Outrigger were appreciative of all the help Red Oak Teamwear provided through the design and order process.
